Robert
W. Ludwig, Jr. represents domestic and
foreign clients in litigation, regulatory, trade and corporate matters, and
serves as trial and appellate counsel in a wide range of
commercial, insurance, banking, professional negligence, aviation and
transnational cases. Mr.
Ludwig graduated from Colgate University with study abroad at the University of Zagreb, and received his J.D. from the Washington and
Lee University School of Law in 1981. He is admitted to practice in the
District of Columbia and Maryland, the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the District
of Columbia, Fourth, Seventh, Ninth, Tenth and Federal Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr.
Ludwig previously was associated with the Washington, D.C. offices of the New York law
firms of Haight, Gardner, Poor & Havens and Condon & Forsyth. He has
authored several articles, including "Neue Exportkontrolle für
Computer, Technologie und Software in den Vereinigten Staaten," Computer und Recht (Dec. 1992). He served as President, Capital Area Chapter
of the German American Law Association (1993-1995) and Editorial Advisor to
the German American Law Journal, and as member of the Orbital Debris Committee and
the Legal Aspects Subcommittee of the American Institute for Aeronautics and

Phillip
L. Robinson has broad experience representing
companies and financial institutions in corporate and commercial matters,
including mergers, acquisitions, and complex financing and restructuring
transactions. He also advises clients on the legality and structuring of
off-shore currency, tax and banking transactions. Mr. Robinson also has
represented commercial banks, savings banks, investment banks, and other
financial services companies in regulatory matters before the Office of the
Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS), Federal
Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and Federal Reserve. In addition, he has
served as legislative counsel for commercial and investment banks,
representing their views before members and committees of both Houses of
Congress. Mr. Robinson received his B.A. and masters with Highest Honors from
Whittier College in 1971, a masters from Cornell University, and his law
degree from the George Washington University Law School in 1986, where he has
been an Adjunct Professor of International Law since 1997. He is admitted to
practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland, and the U.S. Courts of
Appeal for the District of Columbia and Fourth Circuits. Mr. Robinson
previously was Of Counsel to the Washington, D.C. law firm of Patton
Boggs and a partner in the Washington offices of the Chicago law firm of Bell,
Boyd & Lloyd. He speaks Scandinavian dialects, French and Arabic. He can

Salvatore Scanio has
broad experience representing companies and financial service firms in complex
litigation, regulatory, corporate, commercial and legislative matters.
He has extensive experience as litigation counsel and as an advisor on
strategic matters involving financial litigation, corporate governance,
breach-of-contract disputes, federal and state banking issues, federal
securities litigation, and uniform commercial code issues. Mr.
Scanio has litigated commercial and regulatory cases involving common law
fraud, fiduciary duty, lost profits, violations of statutory and regulatory
duties, class actions, and claims against the federal government. He
has represented financial institutions in regulatory and corporate matters,
including bank holding company, branching, insurance, retail banking, lending
and deposit activities, CRA/fair lending, privacy, and compliance issues.
Mr. Scanio has also served as legislative counsel on financial
modernization and other legislation affecting financial services firms.
Mr. Scanio received his B.A. cum laude with departmental honors
in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Tulane University in
1986, an M.B.A. from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University
in 1991, and his J.D. cum laude from Tulane Law School in 1991.
He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar. Mr.
Scanio previously was a partner in the Washington, D. C. law firm of Spriggs
& Hollingsworth and corporate counsel with a large regional commercial

Of Counsel
Carl F. Lettow
has broad experience in representing companies, individuals, and foreign
governments in litigation and alternative dispute resolution forums. Mr.
Lettow has represented clients before federal and state courts, as well as
arbitration panels, in commercial litigation in the areas of fraud, executive
and employee non-competition agreements, products liability,
telecommunications and bankruptcy. Mr. Lettow received his B.A. from the
College of William and Mary in 1992 and his law degree from Wake Forest
University School of Law in 1995. Mr. Lettow is a member of the bars of the
Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia, and is admitted to
practice before the United States District Courts for the District of Columbia
and the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, the United States
Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the United States Court
of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

William L. Menard
has broad experience representing large corporations and development stage
companies in a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including
mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance transactions, corporate governance
and federal securities law matters. Mr. Menard received his B.A. from Williams
College in 1983 and his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center (magna
cum laude, 1992), where he was an editor of the Georgetown Law Journal.
Mr. Menard is a member of the District of Columbia Bar. He previously was associated
with the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He also specializes on
international commercial matters, offshore investments and the Foreign Corrupt

Stephen Thomas Yelverton
has extensive experience in media and telecommunications law, representing
broadcast stations and wireless carriers in regulatory matters and before
federal appeals courts, as well as in business, intellectual property and
libel law. Mr. Yelverton previously served as a trial attorney in
administrative hearings for the Federal Communications Commission and has
practiced before the FCC and other federal agencies since 1987. He also
represents clients before the U.S. Congress. Mr. Yelverton received his
undergraduate and law degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill, and has done post-graduate studies at Exeter College, Oxford University.
He also holds certificates in negotiations and mediation from Harvard Law
School. Mr. Yelverton is a member of the District of Columbia and North
Carolina bars, and admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for
the District of Columbia Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mirko
M. Czechleba
is
a German lawyer, with experience in international business transactions,
commercial litigation and intellectual property law. Mr. Czechleba counsels
corporate and individual clients in contract, corporate and intellectual
property matters. Mr. Czechleba received his law degree from Ruhr-Universität
Bochum, Germany in 2002, an economics degree (Vordiplom) from Fernuniversität
Hagen, Germany in 2001, and an LL.M. in intellectual property law from The
George Washington University Law School in 2006. Mr. Czechleba served as a law
clerk to the District Court of Marl, Germany and as an intern prosecutor for
the state attorney's office in Essen, Germany. He is a member of the Virginia
State Bar (not admitted in the District of Columbia). Mr. Czechleba is fluent

Foreign Legal Adviser
Alexandra-Nicole
Senyi is a foreign legal advisor trained in
French and European Union law. Ms. Senyi attended the Sorbonne, received her
B.A. in International Law from the Charles University in Prague, an M.A. (Maitrise)
in International Law from the University of Paris II - Pantheon Assas, and an
M.A. from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. Ms. Senyi has
served as a law clerk for the Ministry of Finance and Commerce in the Czech
Republic and as an Austrian diplomatic representative in Japan. She is a
citizen of Austria, fluent in German, French and English, and conversant in
Russian and Czech.
